OptiView™ is designed for applications where transparency is required in combination with an extremely low reflective appearance. Optiview™ is a Grade A laminated Safety glass.

Clarity of Views OptiView™ reduces glass reflection to less than 2% compared with 7% for standard float glass when viewed from both the inside and outside. This unique glass is designed for applications where transparency is required in combination with an extremely low reflective appearance.
Stay Comfortable Improved thermal insulation over standard glass, very high daylight transmission and over 99% UV elimination to reduce fading.
Noise Control OptiView™ can offer an improved level of noise reduction compared to ordinary glass, keeping your space nice and quiet.

Considerations

Installation
Exposed edges to be protected from moisture ingress.

Coating Position
Coatings are glazed to the outside (#1) and inside of (#4) of the glass.

Application
Care should be taken in specifying for applications where the presence of glass such as Optiview may not be sufficiently obvious.

The glass shall comply with the following performance criteria:

  • Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC)
  • Visible Light Transmission %
  • Glass Only Values
  • Total window

All glass is to be selected and installed in accordance but not exclusively with the following Australian and/or New Zealand Standards

  • AS 1288 Glass in Buildings Selection and Installation
  • AS 1170 Minimum Wind Loads on Structures
  • AS/NZ 2208 Safety Glazing Materials in Buildings
  • AS/NZ 4666 Insulating Glass Units
  • AS/NZ 4667 Quality Requirements for cut-to-size and Processed Glass
